Having a pet is not anymore new in our society. As a matter of fact pets are even required by experts to people who live alone. Not only that it can give them company but it also gives the person light and happiness somehow. Indeed, dogs nowadays, or even before, are considered as a friend of people. Even during the old days, pets have been a part of the lives of the people. It is indeed comforting to have them in our houses. However, no matter how hard some people try in promoting and enforcing of such rights, some seem to fail on giving importance to them. We can even see those giving inappropriate foods than would normally cause skin irritation and even disease. You can also see persons treating such animals very badly like they are a plague to society.
It simply shows how small minded we are. We are even worse than animals even though scientifically proven that people have higher intelligence compared to them. Animals, especially dogs, offer their love without any condition more a human can offer. It is true in all cases whatever the circumstances are.
Fortunately, activists are there to fight and defend their rights. I personally wanted to be a part of such groups, or at least I wanted to thank them for their very good agenda. As a human being, I am also a friend of dogs. I used to have one when I was a kid, but eventually because of natural law of life, we have to part ways. But the memories are still in my heart and they will remain until the end of my life.
You may say that these are just animals and too much for us to give them that much attention. There are more serious problems that we have to address first before them. Unfortunately, I have to politely disagree with this premise. I cannot put myself in the corner knowing that there are some persons who think this way.
Meaning to say, connection is not about our minds and intelligence, that is actually about our hearts and intentions. Today, adoption of these kinds of creature is very rampant. One is not to be blamed for doing that because they are even more fun to be with than humans. You are sure that, and definitely are, they will not betray you.
Of course, they commonly require a very expensive maintenance. Foods and vitamins are only example of such. They also have other needs that the owner should be aware of. However, we have nothing to worry about because money is only a tangible thing capable of replacement but our pets are the only one in this world, they cannot be replaced by anything else.
