Blue bolt shrimps are stunning addition for a freshwater aquarium. They are very active because they clean the wastes and scavenge the tank. They want to feed on algae and biofilm. They are friendly animals and provide a good companion for other type of species. It takes a veteran to handle these types of shrimps and not recommended for beginners. It has a difficult requirement when taking care of them and a small margin for error. Substrates can be purchased through online or on the pet stores. The substrates must at least occupy an inch from the bottom of aquarium. Find a spot where the area is clear so that the species will congregate in that particular space.
