They were also shown the way to travel in the army vehicles hence making them a part of the team and encouraging the soldiers during the war. This is where set to keep security since assigned different locations around the camp to make sure there was no one from the outside who could enter the base without them soldiers knowing. Some of them were also trained to become mine detectors so they would alert their counterparts when they reach to a mine field.
As the day passes, there are different varieties that have been made since them and they all serve different purposes in our day today lives and operations.
